Lamar Jackson’s predicament with the Baltimore Ravens has been one of the biggest stories of the NFL offseason thus far.

After the Ravens placed the franchise tag on him, many believed that Jackson was unhappy with the organization.

That has now been confirmed with Jackson, as he recently revealed that he requested a trade on March 2nd.

Since then, the rumor mill has run rampant, with many NFL fans and analysts trying to predict where he will play in 2023.

On a recent segment on ESPN, Keyshawn Johnson recanted his belief, which is that Jackson will still play for the Ravens.

As Johnson states, “Nobody gets rid of a top quarterback in the prime of their career.”

Jackson has won the league’s MVP trophy and has continued to keep the Ravens afloat.

In his time as their starter, Jackson holds a 45-16 record.

The only downside to Jackson, something that many have pointed out, is that he has suffered from injuries in the past few years.

However, as Johnson and so many indicate, when he is on the field, Jackson has proven to be a difference-maker at the quarterback position.

What’s next both for Jackson and the Ravens organization?

If he is to return to the team, both teams will need to reconcile their differences.

With the NFL draft right around the corner, many teams, including the Ravens, will look to add to and solidify their rosters.

If they haven’t figured out their standing with Jackson by the time the draft rolls around, this situation could get ugly quick.
