Over the past few years, veteran center Andre Drummond has bounced around the NBA as he’s struggled to find a long-term home in the league since being traded by the Detroit Pistons to the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2019-20 season.

Drummond is now on his fifth team since being traded by the team that drafted him, and all that bouncing around and uncertainty may be taking a toll on the 29-year-old.

The Chicago Bulls center recently took to Twitter with a message about him taking a break from social media and focusing on his mental health moving forward.

Drummond is one of many professional athletes who have come out publicly over the last few years to admit they’re struggling with mental health issues.

Unfortunately, mental health issues have become commonplace in sports and entertainment.

Although it has taken a toll on players like Drummond, there is a positive side to athletes admitting their struggle, with fans also struggling, knowing it’s not only them that anyone can struggle with this in today’s society.

Hopefully, Drummond admitting his struggle will help others while spreading awareness that people battle these issues daily and help is there if someone needs it.

As for the Bulls, Chicago is currently fighting for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and is set to face one of Drummond’s former teams tonight in the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers are also trying to secure a playoff spot and will need every win from here on out, which means this will be a big game for both teams.
