The Golden State Warriors earned a big win on Friday night, beating the third-seed Sacramento Kings on the road.

This victory came just days before their final game of the season and a little more than a week before the playoffs start.

While head coach Steve Kerr was happy to see his squad walk away with a victory, he knew that it wasn’t a perfect game.

On Friday night, he was asked what caused his team to give up so many turnovers.

“Carelessness was the main cause,” Kerr said to the press.

Kerr said that the 24 turnovers were a result of “careless passing” that the Warriors were “not gonna get away with in the playoffs.”

24 turnovers really are a lot; Kerr isn’t wrong that this will need to be corrected in the last game of the season and the start of the playoffs.

The Warriors must focus extra hard in the postseason, especially because they have had problems all year.

In fact, there was a point when it seemed like the Warriors wouldn’t even make the playoffs.

It hasn’t been easy but the Warriors have fought hard and dug deep.

Yet, the real challenges lie ahead.

The Warriors have had one of the worst road records in the association all season.

That is just one of the many things the team will need to fix in the weeks ahead.

As of now, they are set to face off against the Phoenix Suns in the opening round.

That team is tough enough but they’ll be even tougher if the Warriors continue to turn over the ball and have problems when they aren’t playing at home.
