The Los Angeles Lakers aren’t done making moves ahead of the 2023 NBA playoffs.
The 17-time NBA champions are ready to show what they can do in a playoff scenario.

Out of these two new names, Tristan Thompson is the most famous and most experienced player.
The 2016 NBA champion has a lot of experience, knows LeBron James very well, and can be a good presence in the paint.
Of course, it’s not expected that he or Shaq Harrison will play a lot of minutes for the squad, but they could see some action at some point.
The Lakers are playing at a high level right now, clinching a winning season after Friday night.
The competition will become harder for them now, but they’re confident they can get the job done.
Thompson, who is 32, last played for the Chicago Bulls in the 2021-22 NBA season.
He previously had stops with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Sacramento Kings.
Thompson has career averages of 9.0 points and 8.4 rebounds.
Shaquille Harrison played five games with the Portland Trail Blazers this campaign, posting 8.8 points, 6.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game.
These two signings were made thinking of the defensive end of the ball.
The Lakers’ front office knows how to make the right moves to build a good team around their stars.
Before the playoffs start, they will face the Utah Jazz this Sunday, trying to avoid the play-in tournament after a tumultuous season.
