All 32 teams in the NFL are getting ready for the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday, with the Dallas Cowboys being one of the most intriguing teams regarding potential moves the storied franchise could make to improve their offense.
There’s been a lot of buzz lately that the Cowboys could decide to trade up in the first round to land University of Texas star running back Bijan Robinson to join Pro Bowler Tony Pollard in the backfield in Dallas.
Along with possibly targeting Robinson to replace the recently released veteran back Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys may go after a wide receiver or two to give star quarterback Dak Prescott some more downfield weapons.
According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys have sent some footage of a few wideouts in the upcoming draft and want him to help the team in the draft process.
What will Dak Prescott do this weekend?
Cowboys gave him tape of a couple of WRs team may draft. QB will review tape & likely reach out to players to chat.
“Maybe we take one, maybe we don’t,” Prescott said.

It would be an interesting move for the Cowboys to bring in another wide receiver or two after the team traded for veteran Brandin Cooks recently.
Cooks and CeeDee Lamb are a decent dynamic duo at wide receiver and will certainly open things up for Prescott, but it’s possible Dallas feels it needs even more talent at the position moving forward to bolster their offense ahead of the 2023 campaign.
So along with all the buzz circulating around the league about the top-tier quarterbacks in the draft, the Cowboys will be a team to watch when it comes to the top running back in the draft and some of the best wide receivers available.
