I know it must be annoying as this is one challenge among many and there are probably many users that have been around for a long period of time, but the new ones are totally lost about the rules and the explanations. Maybe you could just write something down and then just copy past it for all the challenges since it seems such a trouble explaining?

horimiya isn't on the stack, so it doesn't count for the badge. both stacks are linked(click on the blue text) from there, you just have to restack it(click the button that looks like 2 pieces of paper stacked on top of eachother), and watch or read something from the list you want the badge for. and make sure you mark it complete when done. i don't believe you have to add a start and finish date, but if you would like to you definitely could.

Well, that inkwell looks okay-ish. Maybe I'll pick up "Kyougoku Natsuhiko" again, I'll see about that.

And no, you don't need to be a Supporter for this type of Badges, it's (somewhat) different from the other Profile Badges.
