Shiguang Dailiren II

This is one of the best anime that currently exists and I am very happy to be alive and able to follow this second season, this is a show that transcends the limits of an anime, a true masterpiece of the entire modern entertainment industry as a whole .

A gripping and masterfully crafted supernatural thriller/mystery, the perfect gateway to Chinese cinema.

Of all the different animes with the element of time travel that I've seen, this is certainly one of the most unique ones out there. Its mix of drama and suspense gives the show exactly the same vibe as the undisputed king of the genre: ... "Steins;Gate".

Both the opening and ending are divine and that's absurd because the first season also had perfect op and ed, I'm always impressed with the production team of this anime because they don't miss absolutely anything, it's practically impossible to say that anything something was badly done in the anime and I'm not even exaggerating, I could write thousands of good things about the anime here but I'll leave the rest for you to have the pleasure of discovering and savoring this wonderful work!

The first season of Link Click mainly served to introduce the characters, but also to understand how our two protagonists go back in time.

It is currently one of the best anime series dealing with the theme of time travel. Even if the animation is Chinese, I can guarantee that once you get hooked on the story, the only thing you'll want to do is find out what happens next. The end of each episode is always punctuated with suspense and invites us to think.

In season 2, the story gets really interesting, with the appearance of antagonists who will confront our characters. Just as our two ... characters were going about their quiet routines, they suddenly find themselves confronted by a mysterious person. Whereas up to now, they've been content to travel through photos, now we really feel that they're out to change people's futures and catch our criminal. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

The first season of link click has a certain type of charm. Its overarching conflict was that two guys with an extraordinarily capable power are helpless witnesses to tragedies they cannot intervene by principle. It weaves around the localized instances of quiet, normal life that feels all too real and depressing. That makes for a lot of emotionally impactful scenes that occur because a dilemma is present.
That charm has eroded in its sequel. By all means, it is well-written and logically sound continuation of the first season with great characters and suspense, but I can't help but feel that it misses the mark in regards ... to what drew me in to the story in the first place. It feels generic. One villain mastermind who manipulates everything behind the scenes, which the dear protagonists must eventually outsmart and defeat. Too formulaic. All the time travel stuff is swapped out for fight scenes whose ~~outcome~~ presence hardly matter to the story. Most frustratingly of all, the plot is an indefinite streak of enforced villain victory because the good guys can never communicate effectively, nor do the protagonists ever try to use their ability for any substantial advantage.
It feels chaotic. Perhaps it's meant to be, but picture this: If cliffhangers were annoying, imagine the show jumping forward and backwards, location to location, with gaps in continuity, deciding on a whim which events to replay with slightly more detail, but only on the next episode!
I couldn't make this season any better except that I wish the arc was shorter. Transposing to a full-on action anime was driving the show into a corner in hindsight.
